Before I began my full-time art career in 1995, I was a knife-maker, and I enjoyed it as a hobby. But there came a time when I needed to apply myself to the art of painting if I wanted to be successful as an artist, so I reluctantly set aside my love of building knives. Then in the summer of 2021 I decided I could be creative on two fronts, and added this skill to my repertoire. So, I started designing knives, as well as continuing my love of painting in watercolors and oil. Much like a painting, each knife is custom-made, and is a combinatin of artistic and mechanical design and fabrication from raw materials. Just as with my paintings, I am dedicated to becoming a master craftsman in the art of knife-making. Prices range from $550 for a fixed blade, to $650 and up for a folding knife.
